About Danielle Babatunde

“I am all about Educating, Inspiring and activating the minds of young people to go above and beyond”.

What is her passion?

Danielle Babatunde, formerly known as Danielle Rockson is a young woman who is deeply passionate about seeing the youth of today transcend in all that they do. Her passion stemmed from her study of Sociology in A level in 2012, as a young student, she was made aware of how “young ethnic minority students, are less likely to achieve than their white counterpart” and how because of social demographic class and ethnic background it had a major influence on their academic and life achievements. She was deeply burdened that she will see young people of age, being limited because of the type of home or culture and becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy of what society deemed someone of that calibre to be. Her passion then led to her wanting to bring reform within ‘Education’, as a concept and not an institution. In order to bring awareness to the minds of young people to go above and beyond the barriers, and not limiting themselves to their surroundings. Educating the minds of young people, which will then inspire them to be better and then activate them in channelling their drive into something positive.

Academic Qualifications

Danielle’s passion led her to study ‘Politics and Sociology’ at the University of Manchester which she graduated from in 2016, a year later she then went to undertake a Masters Degree at University College London (UCL) in ‘Policy Studies in Education’ which she completed in 2018. Then Danielle obtained a Post Graduate Cert in Education with University College London (UCL) in 2020.
